Helen Barnes

Helen is a Senior Solicitor at GLP who specialises in catastrophic and serious injury cases. Helen has over 18 years’ experience in personal injury litigation. She represents clients in a wide range of personal injury claims, many of whom have been severely injured, both physically and psychologically and whose life, and that of their family, has been significantly affected.

Helen has many years experience in handling claims for Criminal Injuries Compensation including claims to appeal/ Tribunal level.  These cases arise from assault, domestic violence and physical and sexual abuse. She also represents victims of the Manchester arena bombing.

She specialises in CICA claims, Armed Forces Compensation Claims, road traffic accidents, slips/ trips in public places, accidents on private land and accidents at work.

Helen is passionate about ensuring that each claim accurately represents the impact that the incident has had upon the victim, ensuring both the damages recovered and rehabilitation obtained are maximised wherever possible.
